Redleaf Beef

Our purebred Scottish Highland Cows are not only gorgeous, but very tasty!

Highlanders are very well suited to our climate, with their hairy layer giving them extra protection against the elements. They also graze a wide variety of pasture and shrubbery, making them hardier during periods of dought.

Their beef is beautifully marbled, but not as fatty as Wagyu. Several of the cows enjoy a brush or scratch, and often allow me to approached in the padddock. They do have an amazing reach with their horns though, so I am always a little nervous despite their calm demeanor!
