Lambs

With our abundance of beautiful pasture our lambs are getting fatter by the day… although we are hard pressed to find them with the sheer volume of feed available!

So, we have some new stock – 40 new dorper ewes and another Sam the Ram – this one with a white face. He comes with references – 8 lambs out within a few days of arriving here. They are gorgeous, with big ‘handle-bar’ ears.

They all seem to be pretty happy with their new home.

We also have a few new baby chicks. Unfortunately our tenacious geese didnt manage to hatch anything, nor did the turkey – but a couple of the chooks are now fussing around like real mother-hens.
