The parrots have discovered the ripe plums, and the pigs are loving cleaning up any fallen fruit. The great news is there are no half eaten or rotten plums – bad news is that I probably wont get many more for myself this season!
Between mothers milk, the clover-filled pasture, ‘muesli’ of mixed grains, corn and pollard, and plums, these piglets should taste great.
The first ten are on their way to Biota in Bowral – so for fine tasting suckling pork get along to their ‘Celebration Sundays’.
